International coordination

The coordination is carried out by three ministries of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan autonomous government) working together: the Ministry of Social Welfare and Family by promoting, through the General Secretariat for Young, many programs devoted to the young people (mostly of them in an international frame), the Ministry of Education very interested in getting the youngsters aware of the Catalonia’s architectural and historical heritage and sites and the Ministry of Culture, which manages the monuments belonging to the Generalitat de Catalunya. The last acts, also, as the headquarters for the international coordination of the IHPE, as well as for the edition of the present catalogue.

Enrolment with the IHPE is free; however, there are a number of functioning rules that must be observed. (See Rules of participation)
