The information given to the students about what to do for this project hasn’t been the same in all of the cases. The artistic quality and originality of the final result has come from the ideas that the students themselves have come up with. The proposed concepts and images used in each case have been very different there fore not only the talent into consideration but also their cultural knowledge, computer knowledge etc. For these reasons the selection process has been based on the originality and interesting shown more than the technical aspects. Therefore, the student’s general impression of the work is that they have an open-ended project experimenting with everyday material. An everyday object that would normally go noticed becomes the focal point of their analysis. In this way an interesting parallel is created between the perception and recreation of the images that surround them and the possibility of doing the same with their personal experience.
