Participating Countries

As previous years fifty Macedonian young photographers at the age of nine to nineteen have managed to capture the beauty of unique artifacts, exquisite art creations and fascinating monuments of the past times. They have grasped the momentum of harmony between nature and architecture, thus reflecting the genius of the human creation united with the generous gifts Mother Earth has endowed us with. In the past ten years the International Heritage Photographic Experience gathered around thousand of young people from the Republic of Macedonia and inspired them to connect with the accomplishments of their ancestors, to sense their creative potentials and admire their skills and mastership. Guided by their own desire to express themselves through photography and encouraged by the enthusiasm of their mentors, these youngsters have enriched the cultural milieu of Europe with magnificent visual evidence on the cultural and natural heritage. This exceptionally creative educational initiative coordinated by the Museum of Macedonia has united in a common objective young students from ten towns of our country, thus contributing to raising the awareness for preserving the gifts of the nature with as much eagerness as the civilization accomplishments.
