It is really an honor for Guatemala to share with many
other countries the participation and the celebration of the
International Heritage Photographic Experience.
No doubt, knowledge, culture and art, are the axis for the
development of any country and the basis of the future.
Today, our Casal Català of Guatemala has the opportunity
of contributing to this cultural event and takes another step
ahead, to present to the world one mores ample of our beautiful
country, captured through the eyes of young students.
Casal Català invited seven schools to participate in the event
and they gave us an impressive response with a great number
of photos frm their pupils. Of course, this caused a hard but
also an enthusiastic task to our jury, when selecting just two
winners.
As President of Casal Català, I congratulate the IHPE organizers
for promoting this cultural event, as well as the young
participants for their remarkable interest.
